Low Profile Pictures was founded in 2019 by writer and director Perrin Moore in Atlanta, Georgia.

Perrin grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, where he accrued over 70 credit hours in Film and Television production at Trident Technical College before transferring to the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, where he graduated with a BFA in film and minor in dramatic writing.

He’s amassed a good bit of experience since entering the industry in 2015. Live at the Charleston Music Hall, on which he was a camera operator, won a regional Emmy for PBS in 2017, and his 2018 video essay How the 1970s Bred Modern Horror was nominated for a Student Production Award in the Best Video Essay category. Short films written and directed by Perrin since the inception of LPP include The Other Cheek (2019), Old Dog (2020), and Beat Nick (2024). Beat Nick is shot and currently in post-production. Perrin currently works as a freelance branded content director, adjunct professor, and photojournalist. His full resume, writing samples, and corresponding reels are readily available upon request.
